Welcome to Lights on the Neuse, a family-friendly holiday light show located at Boyette Family Farms in Clayton, North Carolina — just a short drive from Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas. Our annual Christmas hayride through dazzling light displays is a beloved local tradition that brings joy to families from all over the Triangle.

Bring your family and celebrate Christmas at Lights on the Neuse. This down home Christmas Lights on the farm is located on Boyette Family Farms INC convenient to Clayton, Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Fuquay Varina, Garner, Middlesex, Holly Springs, Smithfield, Dunn, Wendell, Wake Forest, and Benson, North Carolina. This is not a drive thru light show, but an old fashioned hayride to see our farm and Christmas lights throughout.

We are offering our hayride. Bring your blanket for the hayride and coolers if you’re purchasing milk

products, whole chicken
, eggs
and beef 🐮. We will have our concessions:🍪, 🍿, 🌭, 🍔 and more. Santa will not be here(He’s needed at the North Pole), but his sleigh will be on hand for you to take photos.
Ticket information:
We sell timed tickets online and we sell tickets at the farm. Want to purchase as a walkup instead of online, no worries! Tickets can also be purchased at the farm during ticket booth hours.
Check our schedule for nights that we are open. Please know that we will open according to our schedule weather permitting. If weather is questionable, please be sure to follow our social media and website post for the latest information. All weather related decisions are made by 4:30PM the day of.
A ticket is required for each customer; you cannot share tickets. 2 and under are free and don’t require a ticket.
This made my christmas! Went with my husband and we felt like children. The lights were absolutely magical and the music was great. When the lights turned on it took my breath away and i was even crying at one point. This is going to be a new tradition for us. Thanks for exceeding our expectations.
Lovely Christmas experience made even more magical by the staff, hayride through the lights, meeting Santa, decorating gingerbread men & making my first s’mores at the fire pit , thank you for a great time , would absolutely recommend it

Santa’s Sweet Shop brings you Hot Chocolate, homemade cookies, kettle corn, farm raised meats and more. Also serving hamburgers, hot dogs.
Christmas Hayride
A one-mile long, 30-minute old-time tractor-pulled hayride through a beautiful Lights Extravaganza, filled with Christmas music and holiday magic.
Sugar Barn
Cookie decorating station. Buy freshly made sugar cookies to decorate in the sugar barn. Kit includes cookies, decorations, icing and packaging to take home.
